Love Her Look: Hailee Steinfeld (Again)

So I know, I have another outfit post on Hailee Steinfeld but I just really love her outfits! She always looks gorgeous and pulls off such amazing outfits! She is slowly becoming one of my style icons because her outfits always look so age-appropriate yet fun and stylish!

This outfit shows how you can take summer pieces and transition them to fall. I love Hailee's black fedora because I feel like its such a statement piece and without it the outfit wouldn't be as good! I mean fedora just give outfits so much more attitude! Her jacket is one of my favorite parts of the outfit. Doesn't it remind you of those Chanel tweed jackets? The color is so perfect for fall and goes nicely with her over-the-knee socks! I feel like over-the-knees socks are a must-have for fall and easily help you transition a summer piece to fall. Charlotte Russe's Miu Miu Look-a-Like

Not everyone can afford a designer shoe by Miu Miu or Christian Louboutin, so when I see a look-a-like for a cheaper price, I think that's amazing! I'm not talking about buying a fake, like a fake Chanel bag, but something similar.So lately I have been obsessed with Miu Miu shoes, particualary the Miu Miu glitter and suede peep-toe ankle boots. They are so cute! The only thing is they cost $850. That's a whole lot of money that I don't have!

Look how cute these are! To some they might seem tacky, but to me they are beautiful! Such a statement shoe!

This is where Charlotte Russe comes in. Charlotte Russe is one of my go-to store for cute clothes that's inspired by the latest trends and designers. They happen to have a boot that looks a whole lot like the Miu Miu boots that I love. Check them out here:

These are just as cute! The colors are a bit different but they do look similar.

I really want those Miu Miu shoes but I feel the Charlotte Russe ones are more my budget seeing as how they are $42.50.  As you can see, you can still get that designer look you want without breaking the bank. I'm all about recreating my favorite designer looks for less and I think you guys should try it too! I think I'm going to be adding these shoes to my Christmas wish list and yes, I already have one! You can never be too prepared!

Trend Alert: Shorts in Fall

Just because it's fall does not mean you have to get rid of all your summer shorts! You can still wear them in fall by wearing a pair of shorts underneath. It's a really popular look that brings shorts into fall and even winter! I've seen shorts paired with tights pop up at my school and even on some of our hottest celebrities. It's a fun look that even I can't wait to try. Here are some of popular celebs that have been workin' this trend:

Selena Gomez perfectly pulls off this look by pairing black sequin shorts with black striped tights. Her chunky knit sweater and scarf make this her outfit look so cozy and chic.

Rihanna looks like the ultimate rebel in high-waisted denim shorts and some hot fishnets! Her black motorcycle jacket and edgy accessories make her look like the one tough chick!

Kourtney Kardashian channels Minnie Mouse in her pretty polka-dot blouse and completes the look with nude shorts as well as black tights.

Jessie J looks super fierce in her black leather high-waisted shorts and leopard tights!I love her cropped sweater and statement necklace combination! I should try it!

So as you can see, it is possible to wear shorts in the fall and still be warm. This is a trend that a lot of people will be trying out because wearing jeans everyday can get boring. So will you be trying out this trend?

Funky Fall Sweaters!

With fall officially here, I'm all about cozy sweaters! There's just something about fall and warm sweaters that make me so happy, especially when I find really cute ones! Just because you have to dress warm, doesn't mean you can still look good! You can brave fall's chilly weather in style with some stylish sweaters!

I think the sweaters you pick out for fall should be fun because you will be wearing them for most of the season and maybe even in winter! I'm excited to get some sweaters with cute motifs and prints! How about you guys?

I was looking through Seventeen magazine's best dressed of the week slide-show and I saw this picture of Hailee Steinfeld at the Miu Miu fashion show in Paris. Doesn't she look amazing? For those of you who don't know Hailee Steinfeld is the Miu Miu campaign girl, so she is constantly sporting super-cute Miu Miu looks. I think this red and cream bustier dress looks so chic and sweet. I love how she accessorized it with some nude heels and bright turquoise clutch for a pop of color!

Trend Alert: Mid-Length Skirts

With fall officially here, one trend everyone is officially welcoming are mid-length skirts. Mid-length skirts are feminine, polished, and way more classy than a mini-skirt. They are perfect for fall and still let you show a little leg without having to completely cover up! I have been seeing this trend everywhere on some of my favorite celebrities.

Kim Kardashian went for a retro look with her midi-skirt. The orange belt adds the perfect pop of color!

Emma Roberts's tulle midi-skirt makes her look like a glamourous ballerina. She looks makes tulle look a little edgy!

This is by far my favorite celebrity look. I love how Ashley Tisdale paired a edgy graphic tee with a pretty, polished skirt.

Now that its been getting a tad bit colder, you guys want to be able to cover up while still looking stylish. Well, varsity jackets are making a huge reappearance. They are not just for high school jocks anymore! I've been seeing them on celebrities as well as the runway. This is sure to be a big trend for fall.

The "REAL" Way:

Anyone can pull of a varsity jacket! You can adapt varsity jackets to almost any style and still feel comfortable! I personally like the girly look because I'm pretty girly!  I've already tried it out this trend. I recently got a varsity-inspired cardigan sweater from Madonna's Material Girls line and I love it! I've been pairing it a lot with some of my dresses. I hope all of you guys try and incorporate a varsity jacket into your fall wardrobe because I know you'll love it!
