Pretty Perfumes: Coach's Poppy Flower and Taylor Swift's Wonderstruck

I never really had been a perfume girl. I've always just used body sprays and body mists, but now I'm so into perfumes. My favorite perfume of all time is Vera Wang Princess Pretty. I just think it smells so good and the packaging is so pretty! I also like the other Vera Wang Princess perfumes as well. Two perfumes that I have been really meaning to try are Coach's Poppy Flower and Taylor Swift's Wonderstruck.
Doesn't the bottle just make you happy?
This is Coach's second Poppy perfume. First of all I really love the packaging! I just think its so cute!  Coach's Poppy Flower is described as a bright and charming fragrance with a romantic side. It mixes light fruity notes with  soft florals and a flirty trail. I was lucky enough to have a gotten a small sample from Teen Vogue and I thought it smelled delicious! I have to admit it smelled pretty strong when I first wore it but it is definetly a long lasting perfume. I think it has a really girly, whimsical scent.
I was super-duper excited when Taylor Swift released her perfume Wonderstruck. She is such an amazing style icon, so I just knew that when she finally released a fragrance it would be something special! This fragrance is described as a charming and sparkling surprise of vibrant fruit kisses a bouquet of soft petals and a touch of sweet indulgences. I really love the packaging on this bottle as well. The top reminds me of a charm bracelet which is think gives the bottle that sentimental feel. I have not gotten to smell this perfume, yet, but I'm sure it smells wonderful!

Both of these perfumes are amazing! You guys should definetly get your hands on them if you have not already. You can pick them up at Sephora or wherever you get your perfumes. I would love to know what you guys think about these perfumes! What is your favorite perfume?

Lauren Conrad's Spring 2012 Lookbook for Paper Crown

Lauren Conrad is one of my favorite icons in the fashion industry, so I'm always keeping up-to-date with what she is doing and what she has going on. I was so excited to find out that she released her look-book for her Paper Crown collection! I have heard a lot of good things about this clothing line, so I thought I would share it with you guys!

Lauren describes her line as "very feminine with a glamorously retro twist. Think clean lines, luxurious details, and dainty accents." I love her clothes because they are just so girly and sweet! She kept the accessories to a minimum and completed each look with her signature bun.
This picture is the cover for the look-book. Isn't it such a sweet way to start of your collection? I love flowers!
I really like the color of this dress! It's kind of like a minty-grey which I think is such a unique color. I love that its a wrap dress instead of a simple shift dress or a-line dress! Wrap dresses always remind me of Diane Von Furstenburg.

I love the combination of  the color peach and beige! I just think it looks so pretty! I love how the shorts are high-waisted and they have a bow on the waistline! Bows are adorable!

Check out the bow in her bun! Super-cute or what? I love how the sheer blouse looks tucked into the skirt.

Peter pan collars! I really want a blouse with a peter pan collar! I just think they are so retro.

Who doesn't love the crochet detail at the waistline? I sure do! This outfit just look so comfy!

Welcome to the circus! I have always been fascinated with tent dresses. They just look so cool! Just don't get anywhere near a wind tunnel!

Being the Chanel fan that she is, I just knew that LC would put a little black dress in her collection!
I actually liked this collection! I think Lauren Conrad pulled off the retro look perfectly while still adding a modern twist! I like that a lot of the pieces are really simple because you can mix-and-match them together to create a killer look! I was really impressed with Lauren's Paper Crown collection. She has come a long way as a designer.

Spring/Summer 2012 Fashion Week: Anna Sui

So not too long ago, I saw pictures from Anna Sui's spring/summer collection and can I just say this was one of her best collections ever! She went for a retro inspired look, with fashions ranging from the 40s to the 70s.  The clothes were very feminine in lots of bright hues and the accessories were to die for!
I love the detailing of the these shorts! I just think they are so pretty. The ruffly top is just so cute! So are those lace anklet socks with the bow! They just take you back to those day when you were little and you wore  those ruffly socks with your mary-janes. The red floral statement necklace and those bold red nails add some pizazz to the look.

I think this heart printed dress is so sweet! This would be perfect for Valentine's Day! How could you not love this dress? The red heart and bow detailing on this blazer makes it one-of-a-kind! I want that red star necklace!

Check out that lace detail on the shoulder of this dress! They are so unexpected!

I'm just sweet on this sweetheart neckline dress! Aren't you? I just love hearts, so when I see a piece of clothing with hearts on it, I just have to have it! I think it is so cool how Anna mixed a houndstooth print with a star print to make such a cute little jacket!

Those star printed shorts are amazing and I love how they look with that top! Just gorgeous!

Look at that sheer heart detailing on this dress! It's just perfect for breaking up a busy print!

I love this swimsuit cover-up! I would so wear it! It would almost make you not want to take it off!

This dress is va-va-voom! When I see this dress, I instantly think pin-up girl! The paneling on the dress created the perfect hourglass figure!

This look was Anna Sui's favorite! I love how it looks with a bright bag!

Who doesn't like bows! That mint bow makes me think of mint-chocolate chip ice cream! Love it!

Look at those butterfly tights! They are so pretty! Butterflies are one of my favorite insects!

I can see why Anna Sui is looked so highly upon in the fashion industry. She makes clothes are interesting and fun, yet totally wearable! Let me know what your favorite look is, because I have plenty!

Spring/Summer 2012 Fashion Week: Betsey Johnson

Now I know that fashion week is over, but there are still tons of fashion designers that I haven't talked about, including the fabulous Betsey Johnson. Betsey Johnson is my favorite  fashion designer of all time! I just love her personality and her whole outlook on life. She has fun with fashion and life, in general! I truly don't know what the fashion industry would be like without her!

I just finished watching all of her Spring 2012 fashion show on Youtube and it was just amazing! I love just about everything from the collection! This line was supposedly inspired by Nicki Minaj. Betsey said she was designed for a woman with a "body". Well, she was right on with this collection. The silhouettes were super flattering. There were tons of sequined dresses, animal prints, flowing florals, and even thunderbolt earrings. Betsey gave each model a little tattoo of her name in cursive on the back of their legs to complete the looks. It was just wonderful!
This dress is gorgeous! I love all of the shine with the beautiful turquoise pops of colors!

This sheer floral romper is adorable! I love the fluffy, feathery detailing on the sleeves! The ribbon belt is so cute! I feel like this romper is such an effortless look. You just throw it on and you instantly look amazing!

I love the sweet little baby doll dress! It looks like floral will still be in next spring too! Yes!

This corset skirt make look cute but it probably took forever just to put on! I love how its a modern take on the whole corset look from the Renaissance days! Even though shoes have the whole lace-up detailing to them!

This mint-green motor cycle vest is too cute! Its a much more girlier take on the whole motorcycle jackets! I love it! This body-suit is so cool because it look like the designs are kind of tattooed on!

I love the lace and crochet detailing on this outfit! That little bowler hat is so cute and so are those polka-dot stockings!

This outfit, to me, has that whole Parisian feel to it! I don't know, the combination of black-and -white have that whole Chanel vibe to me!

No collection is ever complete without some leopard print! Well, at least no Betsey collection is ever complete without leopard print! The cold-shoulders trend will still be here for spring.

Lulu Johnson, Betsey's daughter, is working this dress. I love the combination of roses and animal print! So fierce!

I love the rock-and-roll feel the studs give this outfit! It's so much metal! I mean even the hot pink heels have studs!

Yes! Overalls are back! I have been waiting a long time for overalls to make a comeback and maybe we will be seeing them this spring! I hope so because this overall romper is hot!

This outfit is so Barbie! I feel like this look should be called Biker Barbie! Those white short shorts are so fun!

This girl means business in her funky pine stripe dress! I love the pink trimming! It makes the dress even girlier than it already was!

I call this the Doodle dress. I feel like Betsey just took a white body-con dress and let her imagination run wild with some markers!

This would make such a cute prom dress! All it needs is some edgy accessories to toughen it up!

I love the high and low hemline of this dress! It has such an airy, easy-breezy look to it! I love the floral print!
Isn't the Betsey Johnson Spring 2012 collection just fabulous? I feel like every year she just gets better and better! I don't even look at her fashion show as a show but more as a production. She just goes over-the-top with everything, from the costumes to the props! I love that about her! For those of you who haven't seen the show, be sure to check it out on Youtube. Let me know what your favorite look is? I'm very curious!

Fashion Week: BCBG Max Azria Spring 2012

I can't believe today was the first day of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week! It's unbelievable! I'm so excited because this is my first time reporting on fashion week for you guys! I will definetly not be able to report on every designer but I will try to do some of the ones I find interesting to share with you all. Not long ago I saw pictures of the BCBG Max Azria fashion show and I thought it was pretty interesting. I don't know that much about Max Azria and his clothes, so hang in there with me. The only thing I know about him is that he had a fashion line with Miley Cyrus for Walmart. That's pretty sad isn't it! Well hopefully after fashion week, I'll get to know about a lot more different designers.
This dress was one of my favorites from the collection. I love how they combined a bold tribal print with such a sheer, flowy fabric. It look so trendy yet feminine. Who knew a dress could have cut outs at the shoulders and still be one-shouldered?

Color-blocking is back for spring! I like how they used such bright sunny colors but paired them with a neutral color like grey! It's such a great contrast!

Even though this is a maxi dress, I don't really feel a bohemian vibe from it. The colors and the lightweight fabric of the dress make it seem kind of sporty!

I love those pants! Are they velour sweatpants? The give the outfit this whole urban feel and make the outfit seem kind of casual. More of the sheer and cold-shoulder look!

This print of the dress and the shark-bit cut of the dress kind of give of a surfer vibe. It doesn't hurt that the dress is blue either!

I love the weird neckline of this dress! It's like a regular dress but then it's also kind of a halter. The yellow underlay of the dress is so pretty!
The lovely Azrias! Look at the smiles on their faces! Adorable!
I think this collection was pretty successful! Their was definelty a lot of dress, which is no surprise because who doesn't like wearing dresses in spring? I like how the dresses were really flowy and light! Max Azria stuck with darker greys, greens, teals, and blues for colors. I really loved how he mixed the tribal trend with last season's color blocking trend. He pulled it off perfectly! This show in my opinion was a success and I'm looking forward to seeing some pictures from tomorrow's shows!

P.S. Today in my french class, my french teacher announced that we are going to do a project on a famous french person. I decided to do Coco Chanel! All the girls in my class wanted her, but I got her first! I can't wait to start working on this project!

Whitney Port's Whitney Eve Fall 2011 Lookbook

For those of you who don't know, I'm a big The Hills and The City fan. Lauren Conrad and Whitney Port are my role models! When I heard that Whitney Port had released her fall look book for her line Whitney Eve, I was super excited! I love her clothes! I remember seeing her first collection on TV and falling in love with all of her stuff. So, yes, I am a big supporter of Whitney Port.

Anyway, her Fall 2011 is kind of African inspired but with an urban feel. There are lots of unexpected color combinations, jewel/earth tones, and tribal/geometric prints! This collection is perfect for back-to-school because you can mix an match all of the looks to fit your own style!

I love this dress! It's the perfect fall dress! The tribal geometric trimming is what makes this dress so special. Those mauve tights are a fall staple. They would look so good under your little dresses!

LEFT:Who says a little black dress has to be boring? The detailing on the top makes this dress a unique find! RIGHT:I love the navy and white color combination. Usually it would feel a little sailor-ish but the tribal prints make the outfit look a little edgier!

LEFT: I love the colors on this dress! The alternation between the prints and the solid are so cool! It's like it's playing an illusion on your eyes! RIGHT: This outfit is a little bland to me. I wish they had added something besides the neck-tie. Maybe some cut outs for that whole cold shoulder look I saw Spencer rocking on Pretty Little Liars not to long ago!

LEFT: Black, white, and red is such a great color combination. Red pants or jeans are so hot for fall! RIGHT: This is such a trendy little dress for fall! Orange is one of fall's latest "it" colors. I love the ruching at the top of the dress!

LEFT: The pops of blue are such a cool touch to this sage green jumpsuit! RIGHT: I actually like this neutral look! I'm kind of surprised because I tend to lean towards wearing a lot of color so this is pretty good for me!

LEFT: I don't like this look at all! I don't like how the sweater looks against the dress! The black does make the white dress pop but that tan color is just not working for me! RIGHT: I love this outfit! The blazer is adorable! I would so wear it with like a simple tank and some skinny jeans and my black flats! It's too cute!

LEFT: The top is cool! She fused the sheer and tribal trend together perfectly! I'm not sure about the pants! I know harem pants are popular but I don't like how the whole grey stone-wash thing. I feel like the top is so busy that they should have paired them with black harem pants and gone with some killer heels! RIGHT: Not as fun as the other looks!

LEFT: I love the bandage dress with the vest! It's a perfect pairing! RIGHT: I like the ruffle part of the jacket! Your eye instantly focus on the jacket because of it!
So this is Whitney Port's Fall Collection for 2011! I hope you enjoyed the look book because she's got some really good stuff! I can't stop thinking about that gorgeous blazer! What are some of your favorite looks from the look book?
