I'm always on the lookout for amazing brands that are super cute and lately I have been noticing the brand Almost Famous! They close are amazingly priced and super trendy! Their motto is "Keep your friends guessing and your rivals jealous. You are on your way because you are Almost Famous!". How fun is that? Their clothes are definetly not for the girls that are shy at heart. The clothes exemplify the girl that wants to make a statement and stand out from the crowd.  While hanging out on the web yesterday, I found out that Amethyst Jeans is holding a contest to find six denim divas to be fashion scouts for jean trends this summer. The six winners will get jeans for a WHOLE YEAR ( I talking a pair of jeans every month!) and an Ipad 2. How amazing is that? I definitely entered and so should anyone who reads this. All you have to do is like their facebook page and fill out an entry form. They require you to write an essay but it is much better that writing a school essay because it is only 500 words or less! Can you say AWESOME! The summer is the perfect time to enter contests!

I'm Not A Girl, Not Yet A Woman

Okay so I know that the 2011 Billboard Awards were like a week or so ago, but my friends and I can't stop talking about Selena Gomez's outfit. She looked fabulous but a little more mature that she usually does. I mean I know she is 18 now and I know that she has left Disney behind but the cut-outs on the dress made it seem really sexy! However I thought the cute red heels with the bows were a nice touch. They really toned down the sexiness of the dress and made the outfit look a little sweeter.

So I thought I would recreate my own version of Selena's Look. I took a pretty simple but cute body con dress and paired it with some cute accessories to down the sexiness. As we know body con dresses do show off a woman's curves. I think the dainty floral heels, the perky yellow flower earrings, and the black bow clutch 

were just what this outfit needed.

Who is the Funky Fashionista?

I am a typical high school girl with a love of fashion and all things exotic and funky. I have been in love with fashion since I was little. I was the little girl always playing dressup and giving her dolls makeovers.Well, I am not a little girl anymore, though I still love playing dressup!
