So I'm back with another round of my FYI series! I love doing these because I feel they keep you guys informed with what is going on in the fashion industry. So here's the latest news:
Katy Perry has gone pink! What is up with Katy? First, she dyed her hair blonde and now, pink! What's next, lime green? Katy does have such a bright personality, maybe she just wants bright hair to match! I'm kind of new she would change her again, because she seems to be the type of person who can rock any color under the rainbow. I can't wait to see what color she'll have next!
America's Next Top Model is back with an All-Star cast! That's right, Tyra is bringing back all your top model favorites for another chance at being America's Next Top Model. You can bet there's going to be double the cat-fights and drama, but that's what makes the show so awesome, right?The prizes this time around are a "campaign with the Express fashion brand; a chance to be a guest correspondent on the hit newsmagazine show
Extra; a fashion spread in
Vogue Italia; and a $100,000 contract with CoverGirl cosmetics."Nicki Minaj, Kathy Griffin, LaToya Jackson, Ashlee Simpson, Tyson Beckford, Kristin Cavallari, The Game, Coco Rocha, Anthony Zuiker, and Nikos Papadopoulos will all be on hand to make or break the repeat contenders' hopes and dreams!This season will definetly be one to watch, so make sure to watch the season premiere on September 14th!
I can't believe it! They are letting ten-years old model in Vogue now! Thylane Loubry Blondeau has been modeling for Vogue Paris for quite a while now. She so good that she is being compared to Bridget Bardot! That's insane! Her modeling is causing quite a controversy. A lot of people think she is too young and a lot of her photo shoots are too sexy. What do you guys think? If they think this is bad then they should check out
Toddlers and Tiaras! I don't think the photo-shoot is necessarily bad, but I can't believe she is modeling for Vogue at such a young age. I'll get over it and hopefully everyone else will too!
Watch out Harry Potter! There's a new book series in town, and it's called
Modelland. People are calling this book the Harry Potter for the modeling world and it's written by are very own Tyra Banks!
Modelland is Tyra's new fantasy trilogy that has been loosely based on her life. The novel is about a girl named, Tookie De La Creme who manganges to overcome her gangley limbs, big forehead, and unruly hair and gets an invitation to the most "exclusive school in the entire world, the school that creates the most amazing super-models..called Intoxibellas". It seems like a cute little story! Will this trilogy make Tyra Banks the next J.K. Rowling? Find out on September 13th when it debuts!
